Team leaves with mixed feelings from home circuit.

The Assen TT - Circuit was for the Agro On - Benjan - Kawasaki  team a challenge. Several sponsors and fans volunteered and a home race is always exciting.

Unfortunately mother nature did not agree with a dry and sunny weekend. Many rain and cold temperatures makes it to a hard weekend for the riders.

Friday went complete wet and with the new Kawasaki ZX10R basis there was still a lot of development work remained fairly limited by the harsh conditions.

Saturday qualifying was held under tricky conditions and some early crashes caused a red flag situation. Bryan Staring qualified in 16th and David McFadden and Julian Puffe 24th and 25th.

Throughout the evening, several changes were implemented and did paid off in the dry warm-up on sunday morning, Bryan came in the top 10 and McFadden and Puffe also moved forwards.

Seriously dark clouds were monitored for the race and as expected raining hard for the start began. A crash, there was an immediate red flag and everybody came in. At the restart a Yamaha rider blew his engine on the sightinglap and pulled an oil spill from the Strubben to Ruskenhoek on the ideal racing line. Again delayed start and riders all came inside.

A decent long break until the restart caused a real tyre-poker because the weather changed constantly. During the break it was dry and an good tyrechoice needed to be made. Unfortunately, the choice was not the most ideal which we went home without scoring points. Unhappy was our Rookie Julian Puffe which was held in the 2nd corner after  restart, his bike was hit by a falling rider who took him out.

The team has been busy with various adjustments and will work with a motivated team to be at the start in Imola next weekend 29 april - 1 May.
