press release Donington round
31 May 2016

Donington brings good progress for complete team!

After the difficult weekend at Imola, there were several changes made to get the fast
Kawasaki ZX-10R into the top-10 positions. In the area of suspension several
options were tested.

During the two test in Zolder and the Nurburgring, it became clear that the direction
taken is clearly a improvement and both David McFadden and Julian Puffe could
bring a usable set up to Donington.

For Donington was Englishman Luke Jones (27) used as a replacement for our
injured rider Bryan Staring. The team was already tipped him, and despite starting
from 2012 only in the British Supersport, choosing Luke was a succesfull choice.

The race started with a chaotic crash during the start of Guarnoni and Marconi, this
gave McFadden a bad start, he came back strongly and unfortunately was his
commitment not just rewarded with a point, he finished 16th.

Julian Puffe had a lightning start, starting at P24, he made quick steps through the
field. A more than creditable P12 and the first points for Julian!

Luke Jones started from P17 and was focused on a top result, the Englishman
made a good start and continuous lap times brought him on a wonderful 10th place!
A nice performance, that by the team was rewarded with a start again for Luke
during next round 17-19 June at Misano.
